So lets begin from the first day, End of November of last year, I got the first batch of pieces for my computer, ram, cpu, motherboard, psu, M.2 drives, mouse.

Or I may go with RGB light strips and water cooling when the time comes. While the cooler is neat to have, I may be looking for a different one when it comes time to get a premium case that has tempered glass sides. The logo for the ROG goes from the cpu towards the rear first, then the fan just lights up just like it is one led instead of 4. The fan itself does light up with whatever effect the AURA is sending it, but it is actually in an oddball pattern. The logo for AMD stays white, while the ring around the fan does the slow rainbow effect. So far, my new build uses an ASUS ROG B450-F motherboard and the Amd wraith cooler. That's the only thing I don't like about this cooler.

But, CoolerMaster clearly saw a way to force us to install their crapware. In a perfect world, all of the LEDs should be compatible with Aura Sync, and should show up independently. It's terribly unfortunate, and IMO they shouldn't even list Aura Sync compatibility in this half baked attempt. The best way to get a clean look with the rest of your build is to use the USB and CoolerMaster's crapware. If you plug them both in, only the USB cable will work, and only with the CoolerMaster software. With that you can control the Logo, Ring and Fan independently.Īura Sync cable - Only controls the fan color, while both the logo and ring will be stuck on rainbow.
